Welcome to Navajo Lake Marina!
The
Marina is located on Navajo Lake in New Mexico’s second largest
state park, Navajo Lake State Park. You can find
us on NM Hwy
511, 45 miles northeast of Farmington, New Mexico and 50 miles Southeast
of Durango, Colorado.
Navajo Lake is nestled in the pinon and cedar covered rim-rock country
of northwest New Mexico and southern Colorado. The lake, created
by an earth dam, is 35 miles long with over 150 miles of public shoreline
offering ample opportunity for all boating and fishing enthusiasts. Navajo
Lake is situated at 6100’ elevation with summer temperatures
averaging 85 to 100 degrees. Surface water temperatures average
70 to 80 degrees in
the middle of the summer. With warm days
and cool evenings, pleasure boating and water sports are the prime
summer activity.
The depth of the lake (396’) also makes
this one of the best fisheries in the Southwest. Fish species
include northern pike, large and smallmouth bass, brown and rainbow
trout, channel catfish, crappie, kokanee salmon and various sunfish.
With
its clear water and beautiful New Mexico weather the lake has something
to offer everyone. Other popular activities include hiking,
birding, scuba diving and sailing.
Navajo Lake Marina is situated on the southern end of the reservoir,
near the dam. We
are the largest marina on Navajo Lake and offer full service for
every boating and camping need. If you
don’t own a boat or left yours at home, try our great line
of rental pontoon boats. We have five Playcraft
pontoon boats and three Landau pontoon boats. These boats
are reasonably priced and all feature 4-stroke engines and tri-toon
construction. Our
larger boats are capable of handling up to 12 persons.

need. We carry camping and picnicking supplies along with an
extensive line of fishing tackle and bait. We also carry ample
boating supplies and various sundries and novelties. If you would
like to relax and have someone else cook for we suggest the Galley Grill Eatery. The eatery is now under new management with Adam and Lex. They offer lunch and dinner on Thursday & Friday and breakfast, lunch and dinner on the weekends, with a special every Saturday night.
Our
fueling facilities feature mid-range 88 octane unleaded gas with
all the usual oils and boat lubricants needed to keep your boats
running down the lake. Being a full service marina, we also
offer slip and buoy rentals, dry storage rentals,
sanitary pump-out facilities and fresh water. We even offer
a consignment boat
sales service that is available through the web-site.
One other
premier service operates out of Navajo Lake Marina, Mountain States Guide
Service. Professional
Guide, Rob Degner has over 30 years experience in the area and will
cater to your every need. We take reservations during the entire
year but don’t wait as the prime summer months are filling
up.
